CPN-UML General Convention: Additional 100 traffic police mobilized

100 additional traffic police will be mobilized to manage traffic congestion in CPN UML convention.

One hundred more traffic police will be deployed in Chitwan during the 10th National General Convention of the CPN (UML).

Additional traffic police are being mobilized at the inauguration ceremony of the convention as traffic congestion is increasing and there are problems in traffic management. Additional traffic police is being mobilized in coordination with the District Traffic Police Office and Bagmati State Traffic Police Office. According to Krishna Bhurtel, coordinator of the Transport Management Committee, coordination is being made with the security forces to mobilize additional manpower to facilitate the transport management of the district on the inauguration day.

He said that it has been decided to mobilize additional traffic police focusing on Narayangarh and Bharatpur areas from November 25. Inspector General of Police at the District Traffic Police Office Bhagwan Raj Thapa said that homework is being done to make the traffic smooth at the convention. Currently, 40 traffic police have been deployed in the district.

Vehicles coming to participate in the convention from the western districts will be paarked at Gaindakot of Nawalparasi, vehicles coming from the east will be parked at the Central Bus Terminal and other places.
