The joint meeting of the leaders of the Maoist party started at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.
In the meeting, the Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CP Gajurel, Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, Khadk Bahadur Bishwakarma, Leader Dharmendra Bastola, General Secretary Bishwabhakt Dulal, President Karnajit Budhathoki, and others are participating.
After the Supreme Court's order to register a case against Prime Minister Dahal for the conflict-time incident, the Maoist leaders, are discussing whether to unite the party as much as possible or, if that is not immediately possible, to have a functional unity. A Prime Minister's Secretariat member said that the same issue will be discussed in today's meeting.
