Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairperson of CPN UML, is holding discussions with senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal today. The leaders will be holding talks regarding the formation of a working committee that will look into resolving the differences that have surfaced within the party.
The meeting between PM Oli and Nepal has been scheduled for 1 pm today.
The intra-party feud within CPN UML has raised the prospects of the party splitting. However, Oli had called Nepal and sought a dialogue to resolve the issues plaguing the party.
To maintain the unity of the party the CPN UML Standing Committee meeting held on May 13 had decided to withdraw the suspension of Madhav Kumar Nepal along with three other party members - Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey, and Ghanashyam Bhusal.
