Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP) Mahanta Thakur has reshuffled the party’s Working Committee by expelling 16 members from the Upendra Yadav-led faction. Yadav. who is also a chairperson of JSP, has also been expelled from the committee.
Along with Upendra Yadav, Thakur has expelled Mahendra Raya Yadav, Gajadar Yadav, Ramesh Yadav, Mrigendra Singh Yadav, Ramnaresh Raya Yadav and Nawal Kishor Yadav, among other members from the Working Committee.
Some of the members who have been added to the committee are Minister of Youth and Sports Ekbal Miya, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Uma Shankar Argaria and Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Bimal Srivastav.
Meanwhile, Thakur is preparing to send a notice regarding the changes in the party’s Working Committee to the National Information Commission.
