CPN-UML MP Devraj Ghimire has registered his candidature for the Speaker's post.
UML MP Suwash Chandra Nembang is his proponent. Similarly, Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party, Rajendra Lingden, chairman of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party, and Maoist leader Hitraj Pandey are among the supporters.
The Speaker's election will be held tomorrow.
