Upendra Yadav has been elected the parliamentary party leader of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP).
Yadav was elected unopposed, according to the election committee coordinated by party leader Nawaraj Subedi.
Yadav's candidacy to the post was proposed by party leader Mahendra Raya Yadav and seconded by party leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai.
The party parliamentary party meeting today was attended by 20 members of the House of Representatives and two members of the National Assembly from the party.
The Election Commission has authenticated the JSP led by Yadav.
