The 14th International Open Friendship Taekwondo Championship is going to be held in Seoul of South Korea next year.
Organising a press conference, Championship Coordinator Raju Chhetri shared this.
The IOFTC at Portland in US organises this championship in every two years. It organises one edition in US and the next one out of the country, alternately, added Coordinator Chhetri.
He mentioned that five championships were already organised at Portland, four in Nepal and one in India, UK, Hong Kong and US each.
Founder and Director of IOFTC, Grandmaster Diwakar Maharjan and General Secretary Karen Blackledge in last March had handed over the IOFTC flag to Seoul as the responsibility for organising the championship.
Nepal, South Korea, America, Philippines, Australia, Canada, Pakistan, Austria, India, Hong Kong, China, Mexico, among other countries will participate in the championship.
Players will be competing for 65 gold, 65 silver and 130 bronze medals in the championship, it is said.
