The Nepali cricket team has been sent off to play in the tri-nation one-day series of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 in the United States. Minister for Youth and Sports Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj bade farewell at a function organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in Kathmandu today.
The Nepali team is leaving for the United States today, said CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand. Nepal, the USA, and Oman will compete in the series. A 15-member Nepali cricket team under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane is going to Texas, USA.
