The Government of Nepal has honored the Nepali national football team with cash after reaching the final of the SAAF Championship for the first time in 28 years in the history of SAAF Championship. On Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba honored the 23-member Nepali team and officials of SAAF at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.
The government of Nepal had announced to give Rs 500,000 each to the players.In the final match, Nepal lost against India.
