A Nepal-Pakistan friendly T20 cricket tournament is to be organized by the Pakistani embassy.
The first secretary of the embassy, Saqil Ahmed, said that the tournament would be held this year as it was scheduled last year. He said that such games would also help Nepali cricket fans.
Former captain of the Nepali cricket team and founder of the Cricket Excellence Center, Paras Khadka said that the competition was a platform for young cricketers. He informed that the main attraction of this competition is the young players and the players who are not in the national team will get a chance.
Wishing good luck for the competition, Pakistan's Ambassador to Nepal Saeed Haider Shah said that the competition was being organized with the objective of encouraging the youth to use their potential. The match will be played at the Cricket Ground of Pakistan Embassy in Dhumbarahi. The winner's trophy was also unveiled at the press conference.
