At Gokarna Forest Golf Course, the second day of the Ang Tshiring Sherpa Golf Tournament on March 6, Saturday teed off with the registration of 84 players at 7 am while i76 players contested yesterday!
The players were welcomed with kadhas by the stewardesses of Yeti Airlines and the caddies were ready for the exciting day ahead!
After the registration and the welcoming were done, the players headed off for breakfast.
Deepak Acharya, the Senior Golf Director at Gokarna Forest Golf Course, welcomed all the players before announcing that the game would start off at 8:15 am sharp.
The players gathered at the golf course for group photos followed by one minute of silence to honor Ang Tshiring Sherpa!
He went on to explain how they were going to have to start on time if they want to end the event by 1:30 pm in the afternoon along with the trophy distribution.
