Record holder climber Sanu Sherpa has managed to reach Gangchepo (6,378 m) peak for the first time from Sindhupalchok. He reached the peak of that mountain along with another climber Lal Bahadur Waiba.
Climber Sanu Sherpa set a world record by climbing 14 mountains higher than 8,000 meters twice. The famous Nepalese mountaineer climbed the Manaslu mountain twice in 5 days despite the adverse weather conditions when he was infected with dengue.
