Flights and landings at Tribhuvan International Airport have been affected since early this morning due to fog.
General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport, Prem Nath Thakur , informed that both external and internal flights were affected due to low visibility.
According to him, some planes that could not land have been diverted. Vistara from India's Mumbai and Indigo Air's planes from New Delhi were diverted from Kathmandu.
General Manager Thakur said that after the weather improves, flights will land regularly.
According to Meteorologist Govind Jha of Meteorological Forecasting Division, there was heavy rain and fog in the morning, but now it is slowly disappearing.
According to him, there is no chance of rain today and tomorrow.
