The trail has been opened for the climbing season in the Mount Everest for this year.

According to the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), a team of icefall doctors has mapped a route from Base Camp to Camp 2 through the Khumbu Icefall.

Among the icefall doctors who set the route are Ang Sarki Sherpa, Dawa Nuru Sherpa, Pemba Chiring Sherpa, Ngima Tenji Sherpa, Ngawang Chimmi Sherpa, Dawa Chiri Sherpa, Dawa Zangbu Sherpa and Mingma Galzen.

SPCC has asked everyone to follow precautions to ensure everyone's safety. One climber at a time is asked to go up any ladder.

To avoid overloading ladders, workers at high altitudes are advised to lighten and limit the load they carry.

It is also urged to strictly adhere to safety measures like harnesses that cut into safety ropes while on ladders.

If any problems are encountered en route please report immediately to Everest Base Camp EBC and SPCC office. SPCC

He also wished all the climbers a safe and successful climb.
