Kamirita Sherpa, the world's famous mountaineer who has climbed the world's highest peak Everest the most number of times, is going to climb Everest for the 29th time. He has left for Lukla in Solukhumbu to break the world record set by climbing Mount Everest 28 times before. He has been breaking his records every year for the past few years.
Summiter Kamirita Sherpa wrote on the social network Facebook "Leading the charge on my 29th Everest summit, guiding a diverse group of @14peaksexpedition & @sevensummittreks team enthusiasts from around the globe."
He writes "TOGETHER WE TURNED ONE MAN'S JOB INTO ANOTHER MAN'S/ WOMEN'S DREAM."
Kamirita climbed Mt. Everest twice in spring last year. He has climbed more than 8 thousand mountains 42 times. He first climbed Mount Everest
on May 13, 1994.
Pasang Dawa Sherpa has climbed Mount Everest 27 times.
So far this spring season, 274 people have taken permission to climb Mount Everest. According to the tourism department, 612 people have taken permission to climb different 23 mountains of Nepal this season. The government of Nepal has collected 437.8 million 75 thousand 59 rupees as royalties from the issuance of mountain permits.
