President Ramchandra Poudel has congratulated Hari Budhamagar for successfully climbing the world's highest peak Mount Everest with the help of an artificial leg. President Paudel's congratulatory message was handed over to Budhamgar by President's press advisor Kiran Pokharel and President's daughter Awagya Paudel at a program held in Kathmandu today.
In his congratulatory message, President Paudel has mentioned that he believes that Budhamgar's world record in climbing Mount Everest with the help of artificial legs will always be a source of inspiration for everyone as a symbol of perseverance, courage and pride even after losing both legs on the battlefield while serving in the British Gurkha Army.
"Despite losing the physical part below the knee, without losing any courage and making your daily life easy and simple, successfully completing the adventure and
adventure like climbing Mt. Everest is the reward of your strong will and hard work", President Paudel's message said.
President Paudel wished that this success would become an example to instill confidence in other people that physically disabled people are not weaker than anyone else.
