Nepali mountaineer Prakashraj Pandey has successfully climbed Africa's highest peak Kilimanjaro. He climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania at 6:40 am on the 31st of October. Pandey has also hoisted the national flag of Nepal on Kilimanjaro. The mountain is 5,895 meters high. Mountaineer Pandey completed the climb from the base camp in three days.
He also climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest peak of Europe in Russia, at 9 am on the 29th of June, with the aim of completing the Seven Summits by climbing the highest mountains of the seven continents. Before this, he has successfully climbed 6 mountains of Nepal including Everest, Manaslu, Amadablam. Pandey aims to set a world record by climbing the highest mountains of all the seven continents.
