Yeti airlines will resume their mountain flights from 26 September after being suspended during the second lockdown.
Spokesperson of Yeti Airlines, Sudarshan Bartaula informed that the flight is being resumed as there are signs of some improvement in the weather. According to him, bookings are open for one flight every Sunday.
He said "ATR-72 is scheduled to have one mountain flight per Sunday and the number of flights will gradually increase as per the demand of the passengers."
For the time being, Nepali and Indian citizens will be able to purchase mountain flight tickets at the rate of Rs 8,848. For residential foreign nationals, the fare has been fixed at Rs 13,275, said Bartaula.
Yeti airlines had flown at the same fare on the flight since it opened after the first lockdown. Separate packages for Nepali passengers and resident foreign nationals have been fixed at Rs 9,848 and Rs 14,775 respectively for the two tickets.
Mountain flight tickets can be purchased through the nearest travel agency, and mobile apps.
