The price of fuel has been increased with effect from last mid-night.
Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has said that the adjustment in the price has been made after the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) sent the price list of petroleum products by increasing it.
As per the new price list, price of petrol has increased by Rs 4.20 per litre, diesel by Rs 4.07 and kerosene oil by Rs 4.65, aviation turbine fuel by Rs 4.06 while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has witnessed an increase of Rs 91.96 per cylinder, according to the NOC.
The IOC sends the new price list of petroleum products to NOC on the first day and 16th day of every English month. The NOC adjusts the price of petroleum products based on the new price list.
