Discrimination exists in law, behaviour: DPM Mahato

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Rajendra Mahato has reiterated that Nepal is not a totalitarian country, but a pluralistic one.

Addressing the programme organised to welcome the newly appointed minister, Minister Mahato made this remark which he had already said just after taking the oath of office and secrecy.

The lawmaker of Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal (JSP) said everyone has equal rights in society.

Minister Mahato after assuming the office opined that the Constitution of Nepal was not complete. He said the discrimination against marginalised communities exists in law as well as in behaviour
