Popular fashion brand Brocade successfully established its third flagship store in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. To kickstart its venture, the team held a small yet star-studded opening ceremony at the store yesterday.
"I am so excited but equally nervous about today", said Alisha Gauchan, mother of the Brocade project, before the soft opening. "Our journey till now has been a blessed one and we look forward to making greater achievements", she added.
The soft opening was attended by many, from celebrities and social media influencers to fashion enthusiasts. Personalities such as Parakram Rana, Supriya Shrestha (GlamBehaviour), along with many fashion enthusiasts were spotted at the new flagship store yesterday. "We invited people who, like us have a unique and different style", said Gauchan. "People who inspire us with their distinctive styles and our supporters are here to celebrate this day with us", she added.
Guests at the soft opening were thrilled about the new store in town. Many took to their Instagram stories to congratulate Gauchan and the Brocade team on their new store. "This outlet is so conceptual and cute", a netizen wrote on Instagram.
The Pulchowk, Lalitpur outlet is Brocade's third store in Nepal, the other two being based on Boudha and Pokhara. "We based this store in Lalitpur as it is popular amongst tourists. It made sense to have one store here", said Gauchan. She plans on establishing one more store in Chitwan. "Then the plan is to go international" she added.
"Brocade's style is versatile and casual yet so fashionable. It makes me happy to see a brand that represents my style grow", said 19-year-old Saleena Tamang.
