The 8th season of En Vogue by House of Fashion Nepal (HOF), co-founded by Oshima Banu is gearing up for the grand finale today. The HoF team and its managing directors: Wasim Malik and Mingma Chhimi Sherpa are set to welcome guests at The Soaltee Kathmandu.
En Vogue is a platform that contributes to enhancing opportunities for aspiring artists and helps them reveal their hidden talents in the market. With the theme ‘This Time For All’, they have conducted this season in a hope to break the stereotype. The theme has given an opportunity to differently-abled, plus-sized, acid attack victims, and LGBTIQ members.
Many contestants have participated in this new season to break the stereotype of modeling requirements in the industry. HOF has proven that being a model isn't just about ‘good looks’ or ‘height’, there are many other factors that play a major role, from confidence to their personality.
It has conducted over 7 successful seasons of En vogue. And some of the well-known names like Wasim malik, Aayushman Deshraj Joshi and Niti Shah are the winners of the event.
With their 48 contestants, till now, they have conducted 15 successful sessions with dignitaries like Mingma Chhimi Sherpa: M.D at HOF Beauty Makeup 7 Nails Studio; Neha Banu Shah: Soft Skills Trainer and Community Server; Smith Tamang: Zumba Instructor, Dance Choreographer and Walk Trainer; Ayushma Rani Singh: Fashion Model and Architectural Designer; Risma Bishwokarma: Actress and Nepali Media Person; Abdus Miya: Politician; Sydney Gurung: VJ, Model and Host; Nishma Dhungana Chaudhary: Host and VJ; Nancy Khadka: Model and Mental Health Advocate; Faija Parween: Entrepreneur; Anil Keshary Shah: Banker and Social Motivator; Sushant Khatri: Artist; Arati Subba: Fashion Stylish; Anushka Shrestha: Miss World Nepal 2019 and Co-Founder/ CEO of Makkuse; Prasant Tamrakar: Model, Actor and Fashion Choreographer. They also had a charity event organized by the contestants, “Thrift by HOF” (for a cause).
