President Ramchandra Paudel along with First Lady Sabita Paudel performed special puja of Tulsi as a symbol of Lord Bishnu on the day of Kartik Shukla Ekadashi called Hari Bodhini Ekadashi. It is mentioned on Twitter of the President's office that they offered a special puja to Tulsi today at the President's residence Sheetal Niwas.
There is a custom of worshiping Tulsi from Ashad Shukla Ekadashi, Hari Shayani Ekadashi to Kartik Shukla Ekadashi called Hari Bodhini Ekadashi. Hari Bodhini Ekadashi is celebrated every year on the day of Kartik Shukla Ekadashi, which is celebrated with special worship and marriage of Tulsi to Damodar as a symbol of Lord Bishnu.
