Police have arrested a man from Bara with 2,990 bags of banned drugs. The arrested is Mithilesh Kumar Mandal, 20, of Sangrampur, Parsa Gaonpalika-2 of Sarlahi district.
While checking the Super Rajesh Deluxe passenger bus (Na 7 Kha 2681) heading to Kathmandu from Sarlahi, 997 units of Diazepam, one thousand units of Phenargon, and 986 units of Nurfin were recovered from the back of the bus.
The arrested Mangal has been kept in custody and further investigation is underway, according to the District Police Office.
