A person has died in a road accident at Khadak Municipality-5 Ranjitpur of Saptari along the East-West Highway today.
The tipper (Na 7 Kha 2658) coming from the same direction had hit the Bolero vehicle (Province 2-01-001 Cha 0334) of Bodebersain Electricity Office coming from the west to the east.
The deceased has been identified as Shivaraj Yadav, 26, of Bodebersain Municipality-5. Similarly, Shailesh Yadav, 30, of Bodebersain Municipality-10, Mahesh Chaudhary, 30, Brijesh Kumar Yadav, 26, of Ward No. 5, Jaishankar Sah, 30, and Arun Kumar Singh, 35, of Lahan Municipality-8 of Siraha were injured. He is being treated at a local hospital. According to the District Police Office, an investigation has been started into the incident.
