Elderly woman burns to death in Palpa

A woman has died in a fire in Pokharathok of Baganaskali village municipality-2, Palpa. The deceased has been identified as Gaukumari Shrestha, 72, of the same place.

District Police Office Information Officer Rameshwar Twati said that she died while undergoing treatment after burning her hands and feet while sitting in front of a fire. Shrestha was admitted to United Mission Hospital to treat serious burns she got from the fire, but she succumbed to her injuries.
