The meeting of the Council of Ministers today decided to dissolve the Land-related Problem Solving Commission.
Likewise, the Cabinet meeting also decided to sack Guru Bhattarai, general manager at Nepal Railway Company Ltd under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. It has been learnt that the government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is also Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, has stepped forward to seek clarification from Bhattarai.
Bhattarai has been accused for carrying out irregularities in the company, according to Minister Bhattarai.
Bhattarai was appointed general manager for the Railway Company during the tenure of former Prime Minister and CPN UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
