People who had gone to collect yarsagumba rescued in Manang

Around seventy people who had gone to the highlands of Manang have been rescued.

Around seventy people who had gone to the highlands of Manang have been rescued. Former federal parliamentarian Palden Chhopang Gurung, who was directly involved in the rescue efforts, informed that 70 people had been rescued from the highlands by a helicopter and brought to Phu village.

The people who had been rescued were brought to Phu village via an Altitude Air helicopter. The Nepal Army is now flying the rescued people to their respective locations in a helicopter.

Of those who had been rescued the health condition of three of them is serious and they have been sent to Chame.

The highlands that the people had visited to collect yarsagumba are located close to the border with China and are a very remote location. They had been out of contact for a couple of days.
