Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Trilochan Bhatta has committed to working for the people, in an accelerated manner. After winning the vote of confidence today, CM Bhatta argued that it was evidence that the government has worked better for the people in the province.
Bhatta received 30 votes in the vote of confidence election today. CPN (UML) lawmakers close to Madhav Kumar Nepal cast votes for CM Bhatta despite the party’s whip to not vote for Bhatta.
The CM Bhatta’s party CPN (Maoist Centre) has 13 lawmakers and 17 lawmakers close to leader Nepal voted for him.
