A meeting of the CPN (UML) Secretariat is taking place today in order to hold a discussion of the candidate selection process for local-level elections and its manifesto.
A committee under the coordination of Senior Vice-Chairperson Ishwor Pokharel has been formed to prepare the draft of the manifesto.
Nepal Intellectual, Council close to the CPN (UML), has facilitated the district and local-level for the preparation of a manifesto and commitment paper to be issued by the CPN (UML) for the local level election scheduled for May 13.
The CPN (UML) is making public the manifesto at the national level and the commitment paper at all local levels on the same day, April 22. The Council had imparted orientation to two persons each at all local levels to coordinate the preparation of the commitment paper.
