The opposition parties have started the process to file a writ petition against the dissolution of the House of Representatives by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Saturday.

The opposition has begun gathering the signatures of the lawmakers in Singhadurbar who are opposed to the dissolution of the House so as to file a writ petition at the Supreme Court.

Members of the House of Representatives who had signed on the claim to appoint Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the prime minister have been asked to come to Singhadurbar. As soon as all the signatures have been collected the opposition parties will file a writ against the dissolution of the House by the president at the Supreme Court.
