The Nepali youth team has been bid farewell to participate in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup organized by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Asia Cup is being taken as a preparation for the ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in South Africa a month later. Nepal won the ACC U-19 Premier Cup title held in Malaysia a month ago and qualified for the Asia Cup.
Nepal has been placed in Group 'A' in the Asia Cup. Nepal will start the Asia Cup by playing its first match against Pakistan. The World Cup will be held from January 13 to February 4, 2024. Nepal is in Group D in the World Cup.
