The CPN-UML has claimed that 100,000 people will participate in the inaugural program of the Kathmandu district convention to be held on Friday.
District Chairman Krishna Rai informed that 100,000 cadres would participate in the inauguration program of the district convention to be held at Mulpani Cricket Ground.
According to Rai, representatives have already been elected from 11 cities, 138 wards, and 10 constituencies in Kathmandu. Central leaders including Chairman KP Sharma Oli will address the inaugural program of the district convention.
The closed session of the district convention, which will be inaugurated on Friday, will be held at the National Assembly on Saturday. On the inaugural day of the district convention, the rally will be organized from three routes via Kathmandu's Thali, Mulpani and Narayantar, said Chairman Krishna Rai.
