Education minister directs officials to start work on implementing budget

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, has directed concerned officials to start work on implementing the programmes related to the ministry that were announced in the budget. He directed all department heads under the ministry to immediately start work regarding that.

Minister Shrestha has urged all department heads to finalise the working guidelines immediately so that the programmes can be implemented from the very beginning of the next fiscal year 2078/79. He mentioned that all efforts must be made to implement the programmes that have been included in the budget.

He also urged the concerned stakeholders to start classes for the next academic calendar from June 15 by utilising alternate mediums. The minister also mentioned that the admission process would be started from June 15 and directed the officials to utilise all resources for the purpose.

On the occasion, Ram Prasad Thapaliya, Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, mentioned that he would urge all local levels to utilise alternate methods of learning and start classes.
